To answer Ryan’s question below, the scoring will be as follows: 32 points per round. Therefore, 32/# of games in each round=points earned per win. For example, since there are 32 points in the first round, each game is worth 1 point. With 16 games in the second round, each game is worth 2 points. Then a third round win is worth 4 points, a fourth round win is worth 8 points, etc.
Standings (after Round 1)
T1- 26 points (Jon King, Mike Silvestri, Alex Chrostowski)
T4- 25 points (Richie Villanti, Pat Gavin)
T6-24 points (Will Appman, Pat Hill, Andrew Ansel, Steven Vigilante)
T10-23 points (6 people)
The prizes will be as follows:
First place: $350
Second place: $50
Third place: $20
If there is a tie, the tiebreaker will be the member with the higher number of teams in the final rounds of the tournament. For example, the first tiebreaker is whether or not the person picked the champion. The second tiebreaker will be how many teams the person had in the championship game, 0, 1, or 2. Then it will be the number of teams in the Final Four, the Elite 8, and so on until the tie is broken. If, for some reason, there was a tie the entire way, the earnings will be split (this is almost guaranteed not to happen, however).
Any questions can be posted on this page.
I will be giving constant updates on the leaders and the winnings throughout the tournament. For more information on the pool, join the Facebook group, “8th Annual Bob Long NCAA March Madness Pool ’10.”

Not fair! These damn college kids are way too smart! They should be DQ’d!
I saw that, 3 Penn State kids got money, shows how awesome we all are haha. It’s funny though, if West Virginia had won the National Championship, it would have been 2 La Salle kids in 1st-2nd, and then a Penn State kid in 3rd. Funny how things can change so much with one game.
Whaaattt! I can still get money????????????? awesomeee!!! REPEAT!!
